Submit all measurements exactly as they are measured. A Palmer® Pads representative will adjust the measurements for proper clearance.
1. Jamb & Header Depth
Measure from the front edge of the door jamb to the elevator door. The left and right door jamb depths may be different if your elevator has multiple doors. Make sure to measure both sides.
If your elevator has multiple doors, measure the header depth from the front edge of the header to each door. Record the smallest header depth. Record each measurement in inches.
2. Wall Return Width
Measure from the outside edge of the wall return to the interior edge of the elevator entrance. The vertical wall return width may be different than the header wall return width. Record each measurement in inches.
3. Jamb Pad Length
Measure from the floor to the inside edge of the header. The left and right jamb pads will be the same length. Record the measurement in inches.
4. Header Pad Length
Measure the elevator entrance width from the left door jamb to the right door jamb. Record the measurement in inches.
